Writing this post makes me feel a little sad because these pictures were taken the week before Winter Break, which is now over for me. I feel like I was radiating with joy and feeling footloose and fancy free at the time and now I feel like a great weight has been put back on top of me! I know shouldn't complain because I did have two whole weeks off, which is more time off than most people. Also, it was a very restful break, so perhaps tomorrow morning when the alarm goes off at 5:30 am, I will feel renewed and refreshed...or not!
Regarding my outfit, I am really glad that I got this pom pom skirt from Anthropologie last month before the holidays! I ordered it in the wrong size and thought about just returning it instead of exchanging it for another size. When I went to Anthropologie, I didn't see it anywhere in the store so I figured that it was a sign that I was meant to just return it and move on. Then, lo and behold, I spied it out of the corner of my eye as I was standing in line to make my return. I asked my husband to hold my spot (much to his dismay, as he was hoping I would return it and save the money!) and ran over to the skirt, which just happened to be my size. I guess you could say it was definitely meant to be!
