I was lucky that I was able to visit Abbot Kinney on a weekday during spring break. It wasn't exactly deserted, but it also wasn't packed with people either. I can imagine that it gets pretty swamped with people on the weekends. Also, all of the walls that I wanted to visit were free of people, which I wasn't expecting. A colorful wall all to myself? Now that's what I call paradise! Plus, we were able to find free safe street parking, which is my husband's idea of paradise. To each her or his own!
I wish I had brought about 50 outfits to change into so that I could have maximized the wall potential in this area to the fullest extent but, alas, I only brought two. This striped dress from Old Navy was obviously one of the two. It's the perfect thing to wear while strolling along Abbot Kinney Boulevard or the beach for that matter. While we didn't actually make it to the beach part of Venice Beach, this wall with its wave made me feel like I was there!
