Walk on the Wild Side

Animal prints in moderation are always fun. Prints that feature animals, not just the patterns of their fur but the whole animal, are even better. You see, I am most definitely an animal lover from the exotic such as these giraffes to the prosaic like goats and chickens.

Last year around this time in the fall I came across this giraffe dress from Anthropologie in the clearance rack. I had to take this tower of giraffes home with me. (Tower is what you call of group of giraffes. I literally just found this out by Googling it for my blog just this moment.) Anyway, I reached for my giraffe dress this morning because I thought the colors were very inspired for autumn with the rich reds, yellows and browns. I played up the "Katie Girl" on safari look with a leopard clutch. Can leopards and giraffes peacefully coexist? Well, I guess so!
