The last weekend of summer is over and people are now beginning to think of fall. Soon, many will be donning sweaters and plaid, purchasing Halloween decorations and, of course, there's the very controversial release of pumpkin spiced lattes from Starbucks! Yes, fall is most certainly almost here for many! As someone who lives in a climate that's still regularly ninety plus degrees, however, I'm definitely not ready to let summer go just yet and, for the practical reason of staying cool, I can't really dress for fall, even if I wanted to! As you can see, I definitely will not be flocking to fall outfits anytime soon!
This flamingo skirt may be a bit summery but I will definitely be wearing it for a little while longer. I know flamingos aren't exactly what comes to mind when you think of fall, but why can't they be a bird for all seasons? This pink ruffle top could be considered summery too but I could easily imagine pairing this skirt with a pastel sweater once the temperatures start to cool down a little. I guess you could say that in the battle between fall versus flamingo, the flamingos have won out, for now at least!

It's most definitely Autumn here in England already. Even though it has reached warm temperatures by lunchtime, the mornings are really chilly! You enjoy the sun while you have it xx Maria
ReplyDeleteI mean summer is still here. I start changing up my outfits a bit especially because it's chilly in the morning and at night, but during the day it's still tanks and shorts!
