Last week, my husband and I went to a wine pairing dinner, which just happens to be my favorite type of dinner! It was a lovely dinner with about six courses of food, each paired with a glass of wine to complement the flavors of each dish. Needless to say, we were stuffed afterwards! I wore this vibrant garden dress for the occasion. You might recall the colorful floral print from a post I did last month because I have this same print in a pencil skirt. Because the dress is now on major sale at J. Crew, I couldn't resist picking it up at a great price! In fact, I have been stocking up on a lot of great basics now that J. Crew is now offering 50%-60% off of clearance right now. Thanks to this major sale, I am now all stocked up on cashmere sweaters, button down shirts and, of course, cute dresses like this one!
With such a colorful print, the possibilities of what to wear with it in terms of accessories are endless. I decided to play up the fact that the print has pretty much every color in the rainbow by wearing my favorite rainbow flats from Ferragamo. I also went for a purple bag to bring out those hues in the print as well. Just like a good food and wine pairing, one has to find just the right balance when pairing a fabulous dress with the proper accessories!
