Because the weather is cooling off here and the holidays are quickly approaching, it's officially time to start wearing plaid shirts! While I have quite a few tartan and other more holiday appropriate plaid shirts, it's also nice to have plaid shirts that can be worn all fall and winter, as opposed to just during the month of December for Christmas. While I will be featuring more Christmas appropriate plaid as we approach the holiday, for today I am focusing on this colorful plaid flannel shirt! I was instantly drawn to the shirt's fun and vibrant colors that look great with jeans but that also could look cute with a skirt or more dressy pants. (I was actually contemplating pairing this shirt with a tulle skirt but opted for jeans at the last minute!)
You might remember the epic saga of this colorful wall that I wrote
about in a post entitled: Rainbow Wall Never More. Well, I finally
mustered up the courage to return to my beloved wall and the good news
is that I was not kicked out by security, at least this time! In fact, security was nowhere
to be seen on this particular occasion. Sadly, my paranoia about being "caught" resulted in a few pictures with me sporting
very strange expressions on my face, as I was anticipating someone
coming around the corner at any minute to tell to leave. Obviously,
those pictures were left on the cutting room floor!

Love this look and your photos. What a great place to take photos :)
ReplyDeleteLol! I had to go back and read about your experience with the security! Glad you were able to take pictures there again. I really can imagine the shirt with a tulle skirt but it sure looks cute with jeans and those gorgeous shoes!

I love it, Katie! Love the plaid, love the colors, love the shoes, love the rainbow wall! I am glad that you didn't get kicked out this time! I am always super worried about things like that, too, depending on where I am taking pictures. Thanks for linking!
