Pink Jumpsuit

Last year I became obsessed with jumpsuits, even though I initially tried to resist the trend. This year, jumpsuits seem to be back but they've taken the form of having more of a utility form or, as they're sometimes called, boiler suits. When I first put on this cute pink jumpsuit, my husband said that I looked like a colorful Rosie the Riveter! While I sometimes brush off my husband's comments as stupid, I will have to say that he made a good point this time. In retrospect, I should have done the classic Rosie the Riveter pose of showing off my "buff" arms and inserting the phrase "We Can Do It!" on top of picture and posting it on Instagram!

While this jumpsuit is a departure from some of the things I normally wear and a step out of my comfort zone, I actually really enjoyed wearing it out and about. It was very comfortable to wear and still chic at the same time. The fact that it's from Target and $35 also made it easier to try something new and different.  Plus, I put my own colorful signature stamp on the look with my pink headband (you can never have too much pink!) and rainbow flats. I guess if you're going to step out of your comfort zone, you might as well do it in cute, colorful shoes!
