Occasionally, I will see a location on Instagram and fall in love with it but then I have to do a lot of work to figure out where it's located. This would be one of those locations. Tracking it down was definitely worth putting on my detective's hat and doing some research. I saw this gorgeous pastel building featured on several posts on Instagram recently and, although I inquired about its exact location, the only response I got was, "It's in Beverly Hills!" While that narrowed the location down a bit, Beverly Hills is not exactly a tiny town. After doing some of my own research, though, I realized that it's actually Beverly Hills City Hall.
My husband and I had to run some errands in Beverly Hills recently, so this made for the perfect opportunity to visit this location. I decided to don this lovely printed tie blouse for the occasion that perfectly matches the tropical vibes going on with the building. Honestly, I would have thought that this building was right out of Miami given the color scheme and architecture! (Also, there was a strong breeze coming from the ocean on the day we visited!) Speaking of the atmosphere of this location, there was a gentleman taking pictures here with a professional photographer (clearly it's a popular place!) and they were blasting some "mood" music on an iPhone for the photo shoot! I guess it was a good inspiration for my less professional endeavors when shooting here!
