Zebras are the New Reindeer

Every year there is a new "it" animal that makes its way into fashion. Being a lover of all animals, great and small, I always buy into whatever the craze is. This year I would say it's a toss up between Zebras and Llamas, which are both adorable. J. Crew rolled out a slew of zebra themed items (no Llamas yet, unfortunately!) in time for the holidays and even declared in their catalog that zebras are the new reindeer, which I stole and used as the title of today's post.

While I don't think that Zebras will be pulling Santa's sleigh anytime in the near future, they do make for beautiful adornments for articles of clothing, like my red cardigan. The red color makes it perfect for Christmas, but because it doesn't feature something that's overtly Christmasy, like reindeer, it can easily be worn all year round, which I am definitely looking forward to doing!
