Graphic and Floral

I wear a lot of skirts and dresses. If you flip through my last dozen or so posts you will see the proof of that. It's always been my thing. Even in college I would opt for a skirt as opposed to jeans. In my opinion, it's just cooler and more comfortable to wear a skirt than pants. But maybe I am just weird?

Next week, I am officially starting summer vacation (I still have a few days to go), so I have been wearing jeans a lot more than usual. However, just because I am wearing jeans doesn't mean I can't jazz up the look a little bit.  Today I opted for jeans with a graphic print blouse and some pink and mint accessories. In some ways, I think this outfit is sort of a throwback to what was in style a couple years ago. For example, my large rose necklace was one of those statement pieces that is everywhere and then nowhere in a brief span of time. People still love to comment on it, though, and ask where it is from. Big, loud pieces tend to have that effect on people! Perhaps the same could be said about grid patterns and my pink, mint and black and white color scheme. These were trends that were all the rage a year or two ago, but everyone still loves them, myself included!

    1. Thank you! I am a big fan of modern prints, such as this grid one. They may come in and out of style, but I agree they are always timeless!

    1. Thank you! Yes, my Cerf tote actually was fairly soft and broken in like this when I purchased it from the store. I am not a fan of the more rigid ones either. To me this one is just perfect: not too rigid, but not too slouchy!

    1. Thank you Susan! Yes, these pumps are actually comfy. My only complaint is that they are just a little too high for me. Other than that I love them. I am a big fan of J. Crew's made in Italy shoes. I think they offer a lot of bang for the buck!

  9. I really love this windowpane pattern and when I find one, I am going to buy it! Looks great with the pink shoes! We both like dress and skirts more, but I do love a bf jean at times!

    1. Yes, I can't resist windowpane either. I have a couple skirts in the pattern. I am glad I found another person who adores wearing skirts over pants. People usually think that is so strange, but to me it makes perfect sense.
