I feel like there is just something about posing in front of a graffiti background that makes what you're wearing all the more interesting and edgy, even if it's not. Today I was just wearing my color block tee and my new J. Crew "Reid" jeans, but I felt very "hip" nonetheless. (Well, as hip as one can feel standing in 100+ degree heat.) Below you will see my montage of pictures featuring various artistic backgrounds, murals and street art.
Just as a disclaimer: Yes, I realize what the graffiti in the upper right corner says. I didn't see it until I was editing these photos. I thought about blurring it out, but we are all adults here. Plus you can have a good laugh over it like I did when I spotted it! Actually, you might have to squint to see it, but now I am sure you will do that since I just brought it to your attention!
Well, thanks for coming along on this graffiti adventure through the Arts District of Los Angeles with Hello Katie Girl. With a name like Hello Katie Girl I can use all of the street cred I can get, especially wearing an outfit, as you will see below, that is all J. Crew!

Thanks Jen! With all of the different colors and the graphic print this is becoming one of my favorite tees!
DeleteI love a great jeans-and-tee outfit - this is super cute! Plus you could throw on pumps and a fun blazer/leather jacket for date night. I am always looking for some graffiti wall art to take photos near - you've found some great ones!

Love the pumps and leather jacket suggestion! If only it wasn't so hot (even at night) I would definitely rock that. Maybe in the future!
DeleteWhat a fun backdrop the art district makes! It fits perfectly with this post and your tee! The pictures are so fun and vibrant with all of the colors!
ReplyDeleteYes, you can't go wrong with colorful artistic backdrops for photos! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWow that art is quite a stand out. I love the top, anything colourful I am drawn to. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteI am the same way. My eye is instantly drawn to anything with lots of colors and that is certainly reflected in my wardrobe! Thanks for stopping by Imogen!
