Feeling Frilly

Last week I visited family in Connecticut and since they live on a farm, my wardrobe consisted of mainly jeans and tee shirts. Not the most glamorous attire, but one doesn't want to be wading through cow pies in 4 inch heels and a skirt. Although I immensely enjoyed my visit to Connecticut (I hope to do a post soon with pictures from my travels) there were definitely some creature comforts that I felt a sigh of relief to come back to here in L.A. The first was seeing the neon sign of In-N-Out Burger while landing at LAX. Another was my "normal" Hello Katie Girl attire.

So in celebration of shedding my jeans and tee shirt look, I relished the opportunity to be able to get a little more dressed up once again by donning my new ruffle top from Zara that I was dying to wear since finding it on clearance before my trip. At first I was just going to throw on a pair of flat sandals, but I decided to go all out by slipping on a pair of Louboutins. It felt good to throw on a pair of high heels and be a little frilly for a change!
