TV stations make a ton of money on reality shows thanks to people like me. Pawn Stars? Loved it since it first came out. (I even went to Gold and Silver Pawn when I was in Las Vegas to see the store and Chum Lee, who made a brief appearance.) The Bachelor/Bachelorette? I watch it mostly as background noise while I'm cooking, but I love to laugh at its contrived scenarios, which are always dubbed as "the most dramatic ever" by Chris Harrison. Bret Michael's Rock of Love? Best reality TV show ever, hands down. The Apprentice? It's even better when it features Bret Michaels and/or Gary Busey. Storage Wars? Love it too, although as is the case with all reality TV, it's mostly staged. Sorry.
So why am I talking about reality TV? I feel like this picture looks like I'm in front of a storage locker, which I suppose is partially true and that reminded me of the above mentioned Storage Wars on A&E. I always see bloggers posed in urban landscapes to show of their outfits. Since I am off work, I am trying to be more adventurous with my backgrounds. This is in the back of the restaurant where I went to lunch. When I looked at the photos when I got home I thought to myself, "this looks like a promo for the show Storage Wars."
My shirt was a recent acquisition from the Gap and was only about $17, give or take a few cents. I thought the floral pattern featured on the shirt was quite pretty and the semi-neon colors were just right. I found this scalloped J. Crew skirt in my closet and thought it was a good match for the hues featured in the shirt. I'm still not sure about what to categorize the color of the skirt as. It's somewhere in no man's land in between blue purple. Regardless of color, if I was on a reality TV show I would have had someone steam the skirt a little when I got out of the car, because it looks a tad wrinkly!
