The Gap pocket popover shirt in heart print makes my heart flutter with delight! I already have the J. Crew silk boyshirt in heartthrob, so I didn't really need another blouse featuring hearts, but I wanted to order a pair of pants from the Gap and needed to qualify for free shipping. When I saw this shirt it was love at first sight, so into my shopping cart it went! Clearly the strategy of offering free shipping when you spend over a certain dollar amount was devised by companies to get people like me to spend more money. I hate paying tax and shipping, so I will do anything to avoid these things, including spending more money to get free shipping.
The color of these vibrant hearts was a perfect match with my linen schoolboy blazer from J. Crew. It has warmed up substantially here in Southern California so heavy sweaters are no longer necessary, but it is still chilly in the mornings, which makes for the perfect weather to throw on a light blazer.
