Today I wore yet another pencil skirt, the J. Crew no. 2 pencil skirt in geometric print. I really like the navy and purple/pink colors of this particular pencil skirt and the funky pattern they create. The pattern, according to J. Crew, is taken from a scarf from the 70's which they acquired from a Brooklyn flea market. Really? If you've read my blog before you will know that I approach these fanciful stories about where J. Crew gets their prints from with an air of skepticism. Anyway, this skirt reminds me of laser beams. You know like the ones you see in movies about jewel thieves that surround some precious piece of jewelry or work of art?
Outfit: Coat: J. Crew Bow Coat, Sweater: J.Crew, Skirt: J. Crew no. 2 Pencil Skirt, Pencil Necklace: Kate Spade, Tights: Merona/Target, Shoes: Dolce Vita
Beautiful outfit, I love all of the colors going on. I laugh at the stories J. Crew comes up with about their prints, but maybe they are true?! The skirt pattern does look like laser beams, good imagination! Hope your week started off well!
