Militant, yet Feminine

Last week for Halloween, just out of curiosity, I watched Michael Jackson's Halloween special. I don't know if you saw it, but, as you might imagine, it was kind of strange. On a positive note, however, it did remind me why I love Michael Jackson's music and why I love his style, especially all of his military inspired jackets! While these types of jackets have been hot for a while, they seem to be everywhere and especially hot this year. One of my favorites is this floral embroidered one from Target.

The reason I like this jacket so much has to do with all of the details. While it could end up being like just one of your everyday, run of the mill black military jackets, this one has pretty floral embroidery on it. The flowers definitely soften the look, making it more feminine as well as serving to add a most welcome pop of color. Also, the price of around $30 makes it a steal! So bravo to Target for making something that looks expensive at a very reasonable price point. Below you will see some of my other favorite military inspired jackets!
