When I saw this tulle musical note skirt, my first thought was that I needed to get it to wear to a concert with the L.A. Philharmonic at Disney Hall! I had visions of twirling in this skirt in front of the Frank Gehry-designed structure before a concert, which would be perfect for any musical occasion. Well, I don't go to concerts at Disney Hall that often, so maybe this skirt provides an excuse to go more? Regardless, next time I go, I know I will definitely be wearing this gorgeous skirt that hits all of the the right notes! In the meantime, the pretty spring flowers in this post make for a lovely background for my skirt and outfit!
One of the reasons that these pink flowers are such a perfect complement to my outfit is that I decided to style this skirt with a pink ruffle top and pink satin sandals. I thought the mint color of the skirt and the pink accents in my outfit would look lovely this time of year for spring! In the future, I could see myself styling this skirt for a Disney Hall concert in a more conservative way with a black top and shoes. Perhaps you will see the skirt appear soon on my blog or Instagram, but re-imagined and me twirling in front of Disney Hall!

A lovely outfit. It's a beautiful pink and I love the musical notes pattern of the skirt! Thanks for linking
ReplyDeleteMusic has always held a special place in heart! My Grandma encouraged me a lot with musical things as a child, and then I joined the beginning band in middle school and continued on with my journey. I just love this musical themed outfit you've put together here - I must get myself a skirt like this! I also like that you've paired it with a bright pink whereas I feel it would be more traditionally pictured and paired with black or white.
