It feels like it was just a little while ago that I was blogging about getting into the swing of my summer vacation routine and now my vacation is ending! With going back to work in person weighing heavily on my mind, I'm also thinking about buying pieces in my wardrobe that are appropriate for work but still colorful, fun and in keeping with my aesthetic! This shirtdress from Zara definitely meets all of those criteria! While I'm usually more of a "J. Crew Girl", lately I've also been buying a few pieces from Zara. The dress I'm wearing here is also available at a fraction of the price from SheIn. While I'm not sure about the quality in comparison to the Zara version, the SheIn version is substantially cheaper and will likely be available for a longer time in case the Zara one sells out!
I actually have seen this shirtdress on quite a few people since buying it last month. One place where it was featured was on the reality TV show Crime Scene Kitchen. (This show was one of my guilty pleasures over the summer because I love both cooking and crime shows, although it had little to do with the latter!) Anyway, one of the contestants on the show wore this dress for the finale. I'm not sure that I would ever bake in this dress but I do think it will make a great dress for teaching or wearing at the office!
Dress: Zara almost identical version here

I saw this dress at Zara and wanted to order it. I only didn't because I had already so many dresses that I still haven't worn yet. Love it!
ReplyDeletethat is such a beautiful dress I can see why you've seen it around so much! I like the purple bag with it :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice you will be going back to work in person too, I've so being enjoying dropping into the office now and then although it's taken me a while to do so as our offices opened up on a volunteer basis last year!
Hope you are having a good weekend :)

I absolutely love this dress! It's definitely too nice to bake in! I wouldn't have guessed it was from Zara, it looks more expensive...I may have to hop over to the website! I've noticed that Shein are copying a few Zara pieces now (which is a bit naughty) but I'm guessing the quality isn't as good. Thanks for linking up!
