Floral Top and White Jeans

Ann Taylor is a store that I only occasionally shop at but sometimes I find some really good things there, especially when they're having a sale! A couple weeks ago, I placed an order with Ann Taylor, which included this floral print top. I love a good floral print, especially a vibrant, colorful floral print, so this top was right up my alley! The cut of this top is also a little bit different from other silhouettes I have in my wardrobe, which made it even more appealing. Ann Taylor also offers this top in several other styles that I'm sharing with you below. As always, when I love a print, I'm always tempted to get something else in the same print, so I just might have to get a dress in this floral print too!

 

 

As I mentioned, the colorful floral print was what attracted me to this top. When I saw the top on the website, I loved the variety of colors used in the print. One color that I thought was in the print was red. It looked red on the website and when I got it in the mail, it also looked red. As you can see, due to this I styled the outfit with reddish orange shoes and earrings because I thought that it would pick up that particular color in the print. After taking these photos, I was sitting in the car and I looked down at my blouse and, much to my chagrin, realized that the color wasn't really red at all but a pinkish color! Maybe my eyes are failing me or I need better lighting or maybe it's one of those optical illusions like that dress that took the Internet by storm that looks blue to some and yellow to others!
