This season, I have really gravitated to pastels, especially rainbow pastels! In particular, I am head over heels in love with the rainbow gingham print that J. Crew came out with this spring. As always, I started with just one piece in this print, which was a mermaid style skirt. Naturally, my love of this particular print was not quenched with just one item, so I ended up with a few more, including this button down shirt in the rainbow gingham print. This weekend, I also sprung for the dress and shoes because they were drastically reduced. Yes, clearly my addiction to this print is out of hand! The thing is, when J. Crew comes out with a winning print, you need to go all in! That's my philosophy, at least.
Schools in California went back to in-person learning a couple weeks ago, so I have had to trade in my sweatpants for more professional attire. These Hayden pants are my go to pant for a professional looking pant that comes in a variety of colors that seem to fit my wardrobe perfectly. (They come in several pastel colors, too.) To be honest, things are pretty laid back at school for this final month of May, so I am wearing jeans and more casual attire more than I do during a "normal" school year but these pants and this pastel top will be a staples in my work wardrobe for years to come!

That pastel top is beautiful on you and I love the orange pants with it! Such a great spring outfit for work! It's nice you are back in school too - the kids only had 6 weeks off school here when everything happened and 2 of those weeks were holidays - I can't imagine not being at school for a year, it must be so exciting being back! :)
ReplyDeleteHope that your week is going well :)

So pretty, Katie! Peach is not a color that I am often drawn to, but these pants are crazy amounts of fun! And your top is so cute, too. What a great pastel look!
