Pastel Colorblock Dress

It's been a week since Easter but I am still into dresses that have an "Easter Vibe" because I think the colors and patterns that are usually associated with spring and Easter, such as pastels and floral prints, look lovely all year round! This pastel colorblock dress is no exception. I recently purchased this dress from Shopbop and contemplated wearing it for Easter. However, I opted for a floral print dress instead. One of the things that I love about this dress is that it can be dressed up or down, depending on one's mood. For example, I think this would look cute with a denim jacket and sneakers if one want a more casual, yet still colorful look!

Because there is no such thing as too much pastel, I decided to wear these pastel shoes that I purchased a couple years ago from J. Crew with my dress. While these shoes called the "Kate" slingback are a couple years old, this year J. Crew has released a new version of the same style of this shoe in a rainbow gingham pattern. I guess that pastel rainbow gingham is really big this year for spring, which is fine by me because, as I stated previously, one can never have too much pastel or rainbows in one's wardrobe!
