Casual Sunday

After a busy week, especially after trying to adjust to work after two weeks of being on vacation, it's nice to just take it easy on the weekend and throw on jeans and a sweatshirt. Just because you're going casual, however, doesn't mean that you can't add some fun and colorful details to your look! Take, for example, my embellished sweatshirt from J. Crew; it's casual and comfy but the adornments around the neck make it more than your ordinary sweatshirt!

In addition to my embellished sweatshirt, I also decided to wear my jade satin Mary Janes. I love dressing up jeans and a great pair of shoes is the perfect way to accomplish that goal. I also love that these shoes are flats because, while the satin material makes them dressy, they are still super comfortable. All in all, this outfit was the perfect thing to wear for a casual lunch out and running some errands.
