Brocade and Gold

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! It's really hard to believe that the holidays are already over, as both Christmas and the New Year passed in the blink of an eye! Even though the holidays are over, I'm still wearing some of my plaids and glittery items, including this lovely brocade top from J. Crew. While it might be a little depressing to think about the passing of the holidays, not to mention going back to work soon, one thing that always cheers me up is a little "retail therapy", especially when the sales are so good! One of the things that I love about this top is how rich and sumptuous it looks! In fact, my father-in-law even said that the fabric looked like something straight out of Versailles! To play on this, I paired the top with some glittery accessories, such as my gold glitter flats (a holiday favorite!), my pink turban knot headband (I can't get enough of these lately!), and my new gold earrings from Zenzii.
