Cozy, Colorful Sweater

Sometimes the camera, no matter what you do, just doesn't do justice to an article of clothing. An example of this would be this colorful knit sweater that I am wearing in today's post. The colors are exquisite in person and there's also some metallic thread that gives the sweater some shine and sparkle that's perfect for the upcoming holiday season! The camera doesn't really capture all of this, however, and it's a lot more vibrant in person!

One of the other interesting things about this sweater is that, shortly after I purchased it from Forever 21, I found what I believe to be almost the exact same sweater at Anthropologie, which I have linked to here. I cannot say for certain that they are precisely the same, as I have not seen Anthro's version in person, but they sure look the same! The only difference is the price! While my Forever 21 sweater was under $40 (a small price to pay for such an amazing sweater!), the Anthro one is over $100. I'm sure glad that I stumbled upon the Forever 21 version first! In the future, I might check Forever 21's website first before buying something from Anthropologie. Who knows what other duplicates there might be?

  1. Event though the photos might not be capturing the exact essence of this sweater, it is still so amazingly adorable! And you wear it so well, Katie. I love the bright pink shoes and the turquoise bag with it. So fun! Thanks for linking up.

  3. What a fun knit! I love the bright accessories with it and it was such a bargain too! :) I thought forever 21 was closing down, such a shame :( We did have a store here in Brisbane but no one wanted to buy winter stuff from the US in the middle of our summer heatwaves, ha!

Hope that you had a great weekend! We had our annual family photo with Santa for our Christmas cards on Saturday and then a play date in the park on Sunday :)
