Eye of the Leopard

Halloween is a little over a week away and while I have my pumpkin ready, sadly, I don't have a costume ready. More importantly, I still don't have a costume for my dog, William! (Well, I ordered one but I'm worried it won't fit and/or get here in time!) For my costume, I'm thinking I could just take the easy route add some cute furry cat ears to this gorgeous blue leopard blouse and say I'm a leopard! As you can see, I'm not really big into the whole dressing up for Halloween, although I loved to do so as a child and, truth be told, it's probably my favorite holiday.

Getting back to my leopard blouse, just like the balloon print blouse I featured last week on the blog, it's part of Anthropologie's 52 Conversations series. It wasn't until last week that I realized that they actually assign a number to each print and that number is then featured on the tag. For example, this leopard print that they call "literal leopard" is Conversation #17. As someone who owns five items of clothing from this particular line, you would think  I would have realized this by now, but I guess I don't always have an eye for these details. Prints? Yes! Details? Not so much!

  1. You do have a great eye for prints even if you missed the importance of the naming of each, haha! I like the blouse with the clutch, cute way of matching! :)

We don't really do Halloween here in Australia but I hope you manage to celebrate it and the costume fits when it arrives!

Hope that you have had a lovely weekend :) We went to a wedding which was a lot of fun :)

  2. I love that leopard blouse! I wouldn't have been bold enough to pair it with the clutch, but I love that you did and it works!

  3. Your leopard blouse with the print clutch is fantastic Katie! Can't wait to see all the costumes. It's still not that much of a big thing over here in England - although it is if your company throws a do or if you have children - otherwise it's just a scary movie at most! xx
