Los Angeles Love

Anthropologie is sort of hit or miss with me. Some seasons I see absolutely nothing I want and some seasons I want it all! This year, Anthro's selection of clothing and shoes for spring/summer is definitely the latter of the two for me! Although I wanted to purchase just about everything from Anthro this season, I had to restrain myself to just a few key items, including this Willem skirt. I absolutely adore the colors and the fun, unusual textured pattern. Maybe when some of Anthro's other pieces go on sale I'll buy more, but for now I am more than content with this skirt!

While the colors featured in this skirt go with so much in my wardrobe, I wanted to try it with a bit of a retro twist courtesy of this Los Angeles ringer tee from Forever 21. It definitely has a cool 70s vibe and, of course, I love that it says "Los Angeles" all over it! I really wanted to take these photos someplace that was quintessentially L.A., so what better place than a stucco house with a gigantic cactus out front! Unfortunately, the cactus was a little too much in the hot L.A. sun for me to get all of it in one shot without compromising the quality of these photos, but you can see a little bit of it here and there off to the side in the photos!
