Old School Meets New School

I think this orangish red and white fish skirt from J. Crew debuted more than ten years ago, but it is still one of my favorites. On the other hand, this fish tee from J. Crew Factory is brand new! I decided to put them together for an old school J. Crew meets new school J. Crew remix! Plus, both items feature schools of fish, which I love!

I also thought this outfit, which I wore last week, would be perfect to post today because it's nearly the Fourth of July. I am always look for the perfect red, white and blue ensemble to wear and I think I found it in this look, even if the skirt is perhaps a little more orange than red! While my skirt is no longer available, it does sometimes pop up on eBay, although it usually sells for a pretty penny. I guess even though it is "old school" it's become a classic!

  8. I like the J.Crew revives their old designs for the factory pieces, and the two fish prints could not be cuter together. I love that they are swimming in opposite directions, and how you pulled in the stripes with the shoes as well.
