Moving Mountains

When it comes to finding a new wall, there ain't no mountain high enough, ain't no valley low enough, ain't no river wide enough, to keep me from getting to it! So imagine my delight to find out that a new wall was going up and I just happened to be near the neighborhood. The problem was that this wall was so new that they still had some of the machinery and supplies used to paint it lingering about in the area. Plus, the sprinklers were going off by the wall at the time I arrived, which is a mystery to me because there are still no plants! This all made for a somewhat difficult photo shoot!

Regardless of these obstacles that I am probably turning into a bigger drama than need be, I persevered because, again, I would attempt to move mountains to get to a great wall! I decided to wear my "Heels on Fire" tee, which is currently sold out, but occasionally pops back on the J. Crew website. Fortunately for me, if my heels were literally on fire, they would have quickly been extinguished by the massive amount of water coming out of the sprinklers that were watering the wall!

I paired my "Heels on Fire" tee with a new tropical floral skirt from Zara. I thought the red in the font on my shirt really picked up the red in the skirt to make it pop. As I have mentioned in previous blogs, Zara has become one of my new favorite places to shop for summer clothing. While you can find my skirt in stores at Zara, you can also find a similar, bargain version of the skirt here. Luckily, the skirt is cotton, so it withstood the blasts of water from the aforementioned sprinklers, because my skirt was pretty much the only natural thing getting watered!
