Happy Hour!

Maybe it's just me, but this week went by at a snail's pace! It's amazing how when you are on vacation, time flies, but when it's a work week, the days just seem to drag on and on and on. I took these photos last week during my spring break one relaxing day that we went out for happy hour at one of our favorite restaurants. Speaking of which, happy hour drinks sure sound good about now! (I think, perhaps, happy hour can only be truly appreciated in all its glory when you're working!) Anyway,  I thought this bag from Zara would be the perfect accessory for drinks out on the town because the bag is essentially a replica of a refreshing tropical (and hopefully alcoholic!) drink of some sort!

We took these pictures by one of my favorite walls that's become a sort of "go to wall" for a lot of my pictures. It's a huge wall with a range of colors, so you can pretty much match it to any outfit. Unfortunately, it's also a parking lot for an art school, so on the day we went, the parking lot was filled and only one spot of the wall was open for pictures. It wasn't the part of the wall I wanted to use, but that's life!

Getting back to this awesome bag, it was only $39 at Zara, which is quite a deal for something that looks like it could be from Kate Spade. I have a soft spot in my heart for quirky bags that look like other things. In fact, I'm always willing to make room in my closet when I find one of these types of bags. Below are some fun bags and accessories that are all fruit themed. The watermelon one is next on my list!

Last of all, while a bag that looks like a drink might be whimsical, it's not the most practical accessory! Sneakers, on the other hand, are a very comfortable accessory that I have become addicted to lately! I love the fact that you can wear them with jeans or dress them up with a skirt or even a dress. I do, after all, like to be comfortable while sipping on my tropical, happy hour concoction!
