Confetti Ready

If you've been reading some of my comments on either Instagram or on my blog lately, you may get the feeling that I am counting down the days until my summer vacation begins. If you got that impression, then you would be correct in assessing how I feel at this point in the year. During the last few weeks of school, between grading, grading, and even more grading, I'm about ready to throw in the towel and it's also become apparent that so are my students. So, in less than a week, get the confetti ready because I will be officially done and my summer can start. Let the party begin! Speaking of confetti, the crop top I am wearing today sort of looks confetti-like in its pattern, so it's perfect for the celebratory occasion!

I'm not usually a fan of crop tops for a number reasons, but this one from SheIn is the exception. Even though I am not one for "age rules" regarding dressing, I do think that by 30 you are probably too old to bare your midriff. Also, I've never been a fan of exposing that much skin, even when I was a teenager, so the age criteria doesn't really matter to me anyway. Despite my reluctant attitude regarding wearing a crop top, after reading the detailed and very helpful reviews from SheIn, I decided that the size, fit and length of this blouse would be perfect and when it arrived in the mail, indeed it was. Another thing to celebrate!

  5. I've seen that top and it was a good idea to order a size larger so it isn't as cropped as it's supposed to be. Love it with the skirt!

  6. Cute look Katie. I saw this same crop top styled on another blogger that was skeptical of the crop top trend and it sold her. You look amazing.
