Who, What, Wear?

I am a huge fan of midi-length skirts, but all of the ones I have purchased up to this point have been full, A-line skirts. When I spied this floral midi-length pencil skirt from Target's Who What Wear line last month, I knew it was time to change it up a little with the silhouettes of my midis. Sadly, I don't think this skirt is still available at Target, although I did find some similar options below. I lament the fact that I am always "late to the party" when it comes to posting items, but truth be told I usually buy things just as they are selling out or once they hit the sale rack and quantities are limited. Perhaps if I could be a little bit more ahead of trends I would be a more successful blogger!

I do really love the name Target came up with for this brand, which as I stated before is Who What Wear. Since I told you what I am wearing at the beginning of this post, I will now proceed to tell you where I am wearing it. These pictures were taken at a historic theater from the 1930s in the hills of a quiet suburb of Los Angeles. I've always wanted to check it out, so last Saturday my husband and I did just that. Unfortunately, this is a prime location for weddings, which was exactly what was happening at the time of our visit. So, we didn't really get to walk around the theater, but I did take these nice photos in the parking lot/exterior of one of the buildings. In this instance, I was actually early to the party, as the wedding guests were just arriving as we were taking these photos.

I do exactly the same as you if it helps, buy all my clothes just as they are going out of stock and then they are unavailable by the time I post them!

  9. Love the print mixing with the stripes and florals. That is a beautiful skirt too, I've seen it on a few blogs and I can see why - the colours and print are gorgeous and it's stunning on you.

I think that being ahead of trends is overrated, haha! Much better picking things up from the sale rack, kinder to the wallet ;) Plus you have heaps of styling ideas from people who paid full price first!

  11. I love the bright floral print and the pencil silhouette! It's so fun with stripes. I'm the same way--it's rare I buy something full price. I have to link to "similar" items most of the time because my stuff is too old! :)

  12. Great outfit post!
The fashion/celebrity style website "who what wear" made the skirt in collaboration with target, I believe. They have a whole collection....http://shop.whowhatwear.com/collection-who-what-wear-target-collection
