Spots and the City

I'd like to openly thank kate spade for the company's strict return policies. If it were not for these policies, I would not have this awesome skirt featuring a cityscape inspired by New York. You see, when I purchased this skirt a few years ago, I thought it was a tad too snug around the waist, although, in truth, I just didn't really like high-waisted skirts at the time. I went to return it and they said it was ineligible for a return since it was on sale and marked off more than fifty percent. So, instead of putting up a fuss, I decided to make it work. Over time, I came to love skirts that are more defined in the waist and how can you not love the print?

Even though the skirt is "old", the shirt I am wearing, with spots that are vaguely reminiscent of a Dalmatian, is new from Forever 21. I loved this shirt and its fluttery sleeves so much I also purchased it in blue. Kate spade features some similar items currently, but this one just happened to be a much better price!

  7. I always love a anything with polka dots and loving it with the red clutch. I am so guilty of buying things are not paying attention to the return policy and keeping things that I may not love or fit.
