The Devil's in the Details

I apologize for the random hodgepodge of pictures, however they do serve a purpose. One of the things that I am coming to appreciate is the power of accessories to alter or change a look. I'm certainly not one to wear a lot of accessories or really bold accessories, but a subtle belt or bracelet can be just the detail you need to give a slightly different take on a dress you've worn a thousand times before. Lately I've been taking pieces from my wardrobe and just adding one or two elements to change up the way I normally wear it and while it might not be a big change, it's just enough to keep from getting bored. Accessories are a wonderful and often inexpensive way to breathe new life into something that's been hanging in your closet for a while.

So for your consideration here are just a few snippets of what I wore this week, with an emphasis on the little details which can add up to a big difference.

  2. Thanks! The balloon makes me want to try going on a hot air balloon ride which is something I've never done. Maybe if I venture to Napa! :)
