A few words about the dress I am wearing. I bought it off of eBay due to the fact that it sold out instantaneously. I was enamored by the whimsical scallops and mod styling of the dress. I also thought it would make a cute dress for work, but as luck would have it, it is too short to wear to work. I guess that's one of the curses of having long legs. I was hoping to style it with a blazer or with a striped shirt underneath, but it is definitely not work appropriate. Well, it is a cute dress for going out in and having cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, I ordered a Tanqueray martini dry.

The contrast of the dress and clutch looks fabulous! I have given up on the length of J. Crew's dresses--they are all pretty much way too short for my comfort level which is too bad since so many styles are very cute. This dress looks perfect for a night out!
ReplyDeleteThank you M! I agree with you about the length of J. Crew dresses... Why can't they make them a couple inches longer? I would think most people shopping at J. Crew want work appropriate looks.
DeleteI love this dress and it was too short on me so I didn't bother. (I also didn't like the price tag of course :P) They have a pleated red dress in store at the moment that's just gorgeous. Maybe I'll hunt it down if it goes on sale!
ReplyDeleteLove the cute accessories in this outfit which includes the polka dot heels! Adorbz!
I also thought that the price was a bit much for the dress, but it was more than half off on eBay. The dress you mentioned does sound appealing. I might have to check it out!
