I always seem to have the most interesting conversations with Target checkers. Last weekend when I wore the outfit featured below to my local Target, the checker engaged me in a brief conversation about my Celine sunglasses. He commented that they were cool and looked like they were for a cartoon character, which I guess I could see. Actually, come to think about it, many aspects of my wardrobe tend to make for conversation pieces with strangers on a regular basis. For example, today I was seated near a window at a restaurant with the very same Celine sunglasses on the table. I noticed a woman standing outside staring at what I thought to be my food, but then she came in specifically to ask me where I bought the sunglasses.
Getting back to the cartoonish aspects of my outfit, this
navy cartoon skirt from
SheIn really fits with the cartoon theme, much like my sunglasses. I really liked this skirt because of all of the colorful embroidery and the cartoon dog on the front. It does run a little bit small, though. For reference, this is a size large and my normal J. Crew size in skirts is a 4.
