Ironically, I am a person who likes to get dressed up but I don't really enjoying going out all that much! I suppose that's one of the reasons why I enjoy having a blog because it gives me the opportunity to get a little dressed up just for the sake of dressing up! Well, this New Year's Eve is definitely going to be very different from years past, especially if you are someone who enjoys getting dressed up and going out. One skirt that would be perfect for just that occasion is this colorful dot tulle skirt. It's like a New Year's Eve party in a skirt because the dots evoke the idea of colorful confetti being thrown at midnight!
While this skirt is perfect for a New Year's Eve celebration, it really would work for any time of the year or for any occasion. For this outfit, I paired it with a cozy cashmere sweater and colorful accessories but you could also do an all black look with the skirt as well. Really, the possibilities are as endless as the colors found in the dots on the skirt! This skirt also features an elastic waistband, which makes it super comfy and convenient if you want to eat a little while celebrating! So, while I might not be wearing this exact look on New Year's Eve this year, this is what I might hypothetically go out in if A.) I liked going out and B.) we weren't in the midst of a pandemic!

I LOVE this look so much! The skirt looks so good with the sweater and yet in the spring/summer it would look great with tees or even a tank tucked in. What a great find!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree that this year doing some blog posts helped me feel pretty and like I had a purpose to dress up. It was such a nice distraction from what was 2020.

This is the perfect party outfit, Katie! I love that fun skirt and all the beautiful colors combined in this look. I am like you...I love to dress up but don't much enjoy going out. I would much rather entertain at home. Now if we could get to a point where we are permitted to entertain at home! Thanks for linking! Happy New Year!
