I actually bought this
J. Crew California Destination Tee quite a few months ago when it first came out. Since I live in California, I had to have it because it features so many illustrations that are closely related to my adopted diverse and dynamic state, but I am kicking myself because it's now deeply discounted! J. Crew's destination tees (at any price!) are very addictive and I am becoming quite the collector of them. I currently have the ones for Maine, Paris and, obviously, California. Originally, I hoped to debut my T-shirt in a place that was more quintessentially California, such as the Hollywood sign or in a field of poppies (the state flower of California), but that didn't quite work out. Maybe I'll save that idea for another time!
I'm starting to get quite lazy with my styling ideas. This is probably because it's the end of the school year and my mind is occupied with other things at the moment. This
chambray scallop skirt, which is also from J. Crew, was featured in their catalog with the exact same T-shirt. For something different, I added my straw watermelon purse, which fits because there's actually a watermelon on my shirt, although I'm not exactly sure what watermelons have to do with California, but they are colorful!

That's such a cute t shirt. I love your scallop details on that skirt! I wish they would have one for Wa state or FL and I'd so buy one!

Love the shades, love the tee, but it was that adorable purse that caused me to scroll back up on a link up page and hop on over to your page. This whole outfit is just too cute!
