On our way down to San Diego we took a scenic tour of the harbor. In
true Hello Katie Girl fashion, I dressed in such a way that my ensemble
and the location were thematically linked. In this case, I am wearing my
octopus, or as it's officially called, the "Marine Mural", dress from
Anthropologie to complement the seaside local. I also took on the trip
my fish patterned skirt and my photorealistic beach skirt from Boden
(sorry, no pics) that I wore to my meetings. Just because you're at work
doesn't mean you can't have fun with the way you dress!
It was very windy when we were taking these pictures and as you can see I am still trying to figure out how to cope with gusts of wind. I figured the "I am running my fingers through my hair and trying to prevent it from blowing all over the place" look would suit the situation.

Thank you Kim! I bet you could pull off theme dressing! Sometimes you can do it in subtle ways with just a piece of jewelry or a particular color scheme. Anyway, I hope you had a great weekend!
DeleteAll of these colors are so summery and your skirt is so fun! I love the mint bag too!

Thank you Jessica! I love bright colors all year round, but I am definitely still in summer mode as it is so hot here in California.
DeleteI have never been to San Diego but I want to, badly. That dress combined with the pretty citrusy cardigan are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ada! San Diego is such a pretty city. You should definitely come visit next time you're in the states. There is a lot to do and see!
