Buffalo? Check!

Buffalo evokes numerous memories for me: The city where I was born, my trip to Yellowstone Park winters ago to see the massive beasts covered in snow, or even the David Mamet play, American Buffalo. Well, Buffalo check is also a pattern of plaid that seems to be all the rage lately. I bought this buffalo check shirt from Zara in two colors because I liked the style and fit so much. Today I am wearing the black and white version. To jazz it up I added some neon notes for a bit of a wintry, wooly 80s vibe. Now I guess I can add buffalo check to not only my wardrobe, but also my repertoire of associations with the word, buffalo!

    Ahhh I love everything about this outfit, from the styling, the layering, the mixing of bright colors with black. I would die to have your coat, skirt and clutch especially. You are a bright, beautiful vision today Katie!

      Thanks Shauna! I bought this coat last year and it is one of my favorites, although it's never quite cool enough to wear it here!
