I've never owned a short sleeve sweatshirt, but I suppose there is a first time for everything. For sizing reference the lace print sweatshirt runs true to size, if not a little big. I took my usual xs in it. The bigness will definitely allow for a little layering. For example, I noticed when it came out at the "regular" J. Crew last year many bloggers paired it with a turtleneck underneath, which I probably should have done today because it was cold. So cold in fact that I donned my J. Crew Majesty Peacoat and it didn't come off until close to noon. I recant what I said in my previous post about the impossibility of an Arctic chill here in SoCal. It really was cold today!
Brr... so what are you wearing to keep yourself warm, but fashionable during the cold December months?

Oooh Katie I saw the factory version of this and have been toying with the idea of it... love how you styled it! I have a blanket scarf I've been wrapping myself in and lots of oversized flannel in the apartment. At least the chinchillas are warm and not complaining about the chill, hah!
ReplyDeleteI would highly recommend getting the lace sweatshirt. It's so versatile! Your chinchillas sound so cute. Snuggling with them might give you some added warmth, that's what I do with William. He's my best blanket!
DeleteI am exactly the same way with coats! I think coats are one of my favorite articles of clothing so I have a whole bunch, but really they are pretty pointless to have in SoCal. It's too bad you returned yours. They have it in some pretty colors this year, so maybe you will get a second chance!
