Les Noces du Figaro occupies a lovely historic building as you will see below. Located on Broadway in the once thriving theater district during downtown's "golden age", Les Noces du Figaro represents recent efforts to try to gentrify downtown Los Angeles and bring it back to its former glory.
You can't eat at any place French without experiencing their decadent and aesthetically pleasing pastries. A visual feast for the eyes and stomach alike, I wanted to pillage this entire case of French delights, but I restrained myself and only had a very modest raspberry shortbread cookie in the shape of a heart (not shown here as it was consumed too quickly by moi).
In the mezzanine, where the salon was held, interesting art was lurking around every corner. This included some rather bizarre bunnies. The other painting featured is a nude in a rather sensual and precarious position, so I edited it to keep my blog PG.
