Seeing Seahorses

It's summertime (almost) and that means the return of everything and anything nautical themed. Blue stripes and anchors aweigh! I thought the lobster was the official ambassador of all things nautical, but it looks like he has some competition from another marine creature, the seahorse. Seahorses appear to be invading the shelves of many clothing manufacturers this summer from J. Crew to Target.

This weekend while picking up some essentials at Target I happened across this cute seahorse dress from Merona. It was priced at $24.99 and was too cute to leave hanging of the rack. For those of you who are also fans of the seahorse, they have matching v-neck cardigans (on sale for $15) and button down shirts ($22.99). I went a little "over-board" and ended up buying all three pieces.

    So adorable! I'll need to check out the items online. What's the length of the dress, Katie? Btw, not sure if you're aware but Kate Spade is having surprise sale with items up to 75% off. I saw a couple of items and thought of you. :)

      The dress hits a few inches above the knee. The pictures don't really show it, but it's actually a couple inches longer in the back than in the front.

      Yes, I did check out the Kate Spade sale. I saw a bunch of things I wanted, but showed some self restraint!

      Thank you! I certainly shopped the Kate Spade sale. I actually just got one thing, which was the boat clutch. I was tracking that clutch down last year to no avail, so I was thrilled to get it at 75% off.
