Town and Country

Today I am a little bit country and a little bit citified chic! The melding of these aesthetics can be attributed to my checked shirt and boots (clearly country) juxtaposed with the J. Crew Lady jacket with its "ladies who lunch" elegant appeal. The studded clutch adds yet another dimension to the ensemble with just a touch of Rock n' Roll. I guess these polar opposites represent me and my divergent personality and interests. I love both the country and the city. I am very reserved, but also kind of crazy. I like to be a little quirky, but also classic. And the list goes on!

Repeatedly I considered the Lady jacket and then put it back at my local J. Crew. While I was drawn to its Chanel inspired silhouette, I wasn't sure that it fit my style and I also wasn't one-hundred percent sure what I would wear it with. During my vacation the jacket was reduced to $47 after all discounts, a deal too good to pass up, so I had to pull the trigger. Now that I own the jacket I can think of endless styling possibilities for this classic!
