A Case of the Mondays

Office Space is a movie that I never found that funny until I started working.  Now I understand and sympathize with much of the humor behind the comedy including a scene in which the main character is confronted by an all too upbeat coworker who on Monday morning says, "Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays."

What is the best way to get rid of the "Mondays"? Perhaps the answer is an extra dry martini with a twist. That is what I ordered at the Dal Rae, which is a classic steak house located in Pico Rivera near Los Angeles. While the martini was $13, that was a small price to pay to get rid of the "Mondays." We also had an incredible steak dinner and a slice of cheesecake for dessert which was very delicious.

It has cooled off considerably here in L.A. so I wore I chunky wool sweater and my J. Crew geometric no. 2 pencil skirt. To top it off I paired this outfit with a Dolce and Gabbana clutch and some sort of statement necklace which I purchased over the summer from J. Crew.
