In this look that I wore to work last week I am toning down the color and amping up the leopard! I recently purchased this velvet bow sweater from Kate Spade and while it goes with everything, I thought that it was basically made to wear with a classic leopard skirt! I've actually been looking for a bow sweater for a while and considered purchasing this one from J. Crew Factory, which flew off the shelves this winter, but I liked that the one from Kate Spade was a little more dressy. Also, the short sleeves make it more versatile for me because the weather is warm here almost all year round.
While this look is definitely nowhere near as colorful as many of my other outfits, I did find a way to insert some color by adding a pop of red in the shoe department. I was thinking about also adding some color with my bag, but decided instead to keep it simple with my black Clare V. Petite Alistair bag. Because leopard tends to be a very loud print, I thought it was best to let it be the star of the show, although the bow might be a contender as well.
