Geometric from Head to Toe

Who knows why we like the things that we like? For example, I have always been drawn to geometric shapes and sharp angles. I'm not sure why. Maybe I have a natural affinity for geometry, but as you can see, my love for all things geometric is clearly represented in my bag, dress, and, of course, the beautiful wall featured as the background in my post for today.

As many of you already know from a few of my previous posts, I went to Las Vegas over winter break this year, which is somewhat of a tradition. It's also somewhat of a tradition for me to not leave Vegas empty handed because shopping is one of my favorite things to do there! Usually what comes home with me is a bag and on this trip I came home with this Fendi tote that features geometric pyramid studs. It represents another thing that I love: classic style with a quirky twist. My husband (who is critical of much of my wardrobe) actually liked the bag because of its neutral color and design. I loved those qualities too, but the colorful studs are what put the bag over the top for me!

As a quick side note, this wall was located with the help of the Style Charades'  Los Angeles Colorful Wall Guide. I am not sure what building this wall is painted on. It actually looked like a school, but there were people in the building on a Sunday, so that rules out that theory. Anyway, I told my husband that our "photo shoot" here was guerilla blogging. Again, it was getting dark, so we had limited time. There was nowhere to park so my husband parked in their parking lot with his flashers on. To top it off, a guy drove by on his bike very slowly and stared at us for what seemed like five minutes wondering what was going on. Finding colorful walls is another thing I love, but some of the drama that comes with it is something I could do without!
