I actually wore this skirt on the first day of our trip to Paso Robles in full realization that it was a little too dressy for the occasion, but on the other hand I was okay with this. It's fun to get dressed up and why not celebrate the start of a one week vacation? Plus, drinking wine is always a celebration, in my opinion.
These photos were taken in the parking lot of the first vineyard we stopped at. The timing was just perfect as the light was just reaching its magic hour state. What could be better than spending happy hour tasting some wines and enjoying beautiful scenery? Now that's something worthy of a party skirt!

Katie, I love the fact that you wear skirts like this on a daily basis, party or not! I often wish I could pull the look off but walking around with my hubby with his basketball shorts on and me in full regal attire just looks too disjointed. I am loving everything about this skirt and I feel like you paired it perfectly with the shirt and flats - definitely perfect for wine tasting! Hope your week is going good so far, halfway through! XO -Kim
ReplyDeleteI agree, wine and beautiful scenery like that are definitely worthy of a party skirt! That skirt is too fun not to wear, anyway. I love that you paired it with that jeweled belt and ball/dot sweater--such a great mix of textures here!
