Nordic Fairy?

My favorite thing about getting dressed in the morning is the anticipation of what my husband is going to say about my outfit. He's very creative when it comes to commenting on or describing what I am wearing. In the case of today's outfit, he walked in and said, "you look like a Nordic fairy." I would surmise that this assessment of my outfit was due to the fact that I have a Fair Isle sweater on top and a puffy cream colored tulle skirt on the bottom, in addition to my pointy silver shoes. Well, the description made me both laugh and cringe.

Because this Fair Isle sweater from J. Crew has so many colors in it, I was a little stumped as to what bag to pair with it. When picking bags, believe it or not, I sometimes ask my husband for advice. In this instance, he told me to go with this lavender satchel type bag because it completed the "Heidi"-like aspects of the ensemble. Not being one to argue, I took his advice. Don't you just love husbands?
