Like many young people, William has a lot of hopes, dreams and aspirations. This Labor Day we took him to the beach house and as you can see he is wistfully looking out amongst the boats longing to be a sea captain! Well, perhaps he is just looking at some birds. William really enjoys birds and people watching.
Here is a profile shot of William. Perhaps I am a bit biased, but I think he is turning in to a really handsome English Springer Spaniel. It is amazing how quickly puppies grow up. Just recently I was looking through his baby pictures and it was hard to believe that his size has more than quadrupled in a matter of months! Pretty soon he will be full grown.
I apologize for the frayed and tattered leash in the pictures. The leash actually belonged to our old dog, Miles. It was in perfect condition when William inherited it from his big brother. Since then, William has used it as his own personal chew toy. I recently found a book featuring cute puppy pictures in it and I thought to myself, "Puppies are sure cute to look at, but not quite as fun to own!" Having a puppy is wonderful and I wouldn't trade it for the world, but he is starting to go through more a destructive faze. I have locked up all Chanel and Louboutin in preparation of this stage!

what a sweet boy! we hope to have a dog one day - but living in the big city doesn't give us much space for one.
ReplyDeleteThanks! When I was living in New York City I had a bunny because I couldn't have a dog. The city doesn't provide much space for pet owners! Hopefully one day you can get one!
