Attack of the Giant Dots!

I came across this wall with giant dots by accident on Instagram and naturally I had to find it. With little information to go on, save for the city and that it was near an arts school, I successfully tracked it down with the help of my husband who is much better with directions than I am. There are actually two other colorful walls adjacent to this immense dot wall, which provides for a plethora of cool blogging photos. In fact, in anticipation of this, I actually brought a change of clothing (I went from this adorable Kate Spade skirt to jeans) and a change of shoes, because I wanted to do an Easter post with my bunny shoes, which you can find here. Doing a wardrobe change in the car made me feel like a real, hardcore blogger. When the police drove by, it also made me feel like I could be arrested for something that could be misconstrued as a criminal act, but apparently the police had bigger fish to fry than some woman changing pants in a car and taking blog photos with her husband!

I bought this skirt last month when Kate Spade was having an extra 25% off of sale. This skirt was definitely one of those pieces that I coveted the moment that it came out as a new arrival at Kate Spade. I debated between the skirt and the dress version, but ultimately selected the skirt because I thought it would be more versatile for work. If the dress is reduced further, I might just have to bite the bullet and get that too, or get it in the black and white version...or both. Somebody stop me! Below are some links to a few Kate Spade options with the same print called "flag stripe" as my skirt.

  7. Oh wow! Your outfit is absolutely perfect for the dot wall! What a fun shoot. And too funny that you changed clothes in the car - this past weekend was the first time I did that for the sake of a blog shoot too, haha. I may have to run out and buy that magnificent skirt now after seeing this post. :)
